Good Monday morning

How are you?

(That's literally it for the moment, but I'll be back soon. I do want to know how you are though!)

  1. The house is quieeeeeeeeeet! The washer is on, and I am grand.

Oh, I forgot I am not talking to you.......... since you are excommunicated, de-frocked and un-adopted as my grandson!

    Traitor!

  6. Lazy bastard! I'm good thanks, pretty fecking tired after four days in Madrid with 52 first years. I'm also a little bitter, as Spain is a difficult place to watch rugby matches in, and I'm told I missed the 'greatest game ever'. I tried to watch it online but could only get a kind of live blog onm RTE.ie from a guy so cheery he might well have been you. Was it you, Darragh?

And, thanks to Radge, your blog has become a source of breaking news for me. Poor old Tony, perhaps he'll become a defence coach at Arsenal. That would be nice.

Christ, this is what happens when you give people free rein to write whatever they want.

  9. Cold. No heating in workshop as we are making some changes. After cutting foam concrete formers and in the office to get a coffee & get warmed up.

  11. I'm fine! Thanks for asking, Darragh.

I've an infection festering away in my head (again) and a pelvic joint out of place (again) but other than that, life is rosy! :D

Having just staggered back from the village with a large celeriac under my arm, I'm about to tackle Grannymar's soup recipe.

Now I want to know why she's calling you a traitor. Comm'on, spill the beans!

  12. I'm good thanks - had a really great weekend, and enjoyed our conversation over pint on Saturday. Now I have lots of energy and ideas and want to figure out what the hell to do with them. Also want more time.

  14. I was in work friday until 7:30pm made it to Ste lennon's dad's party for 8:30pm had a few lil drinkies and took some really funny pics woke at 7:30am and go ready for work. got to the office at 8:30am and realised I forgot my Security FOB.. yes an hour to work and no way of getting in... so I walked to the garage and asked the guy who owns it if he'd let me use his computer after a few bribes I logged into my work PC from his security office and unlocked the doors of the office remotely.

Then I supervised the upgrade of the PBX, CMS and voicemail and finally got out of the office at 7pm just after missing the entire rugby match. I got a call from the wife (girlfriend) saying she's in the pub would I mind collecting her so I said sure no problem. I arrived and she had a full pint in front of her.. typically when I have the car and I'm exhausted.. But she treated me to a Curry in Clondalkin Village it was nice!! got to bed about 11pm sleep about 3 seconds after hitting the pillow.

I woke up Sunday morning Dropped the wife to work and then played COD4 on the PS3 for about 7 hours. Put on a wash and was asleep by about 12.

I'm now sitting at my desk since 7:15am and I'm not in the mood for doing anything but getting into bed and sleeping till the weekend....

So.. that was a bit of a rant...

    How are you?

  18. On vacation, thanks. And how are you feeling today? Better I hope.

Don't let the vacation thing fool you. Not on some exotic travel trip, just taking a vacation from my desk and the headaches which go along with it. :)

  19. Feeling good - thanks Darragh. Only thing is there's not enough hours in the day to do the things I'd like to get done. Ah well - there's always tomorrow.
