All Together Now stop frame animation - Budweiser tribute

Because I was one of the people at the Budweiser Lyrics preview evening in Dublin earlier this year thanks to the lovely (and I mean lovely!) people at WHPR, and uploaded the ad to YouTube, I still get the odd notification of new videos being made as a tribute to the ad.

Like this new one by You Tube user ijbellehy1981, which I adore. The creativity is astounding.

Your favourite YouTube videos on the big screen

You'll see this out there today on other great blogs, including the screening of Tron for the first time in 25 years, but I'd like to draw your attention to Darklight's Budda Bag YouTube salon.



I did this last year and it was great fun. A very simple idea - choose your favourite You Tube videos, line them up on the laptops and show the audience what you like!



You get 30 minutes to show off your chosen videos. It's a great idea for the people who make their own films, who do interesting mash-ups or who just have funny ideas and talent.

I met some really interesting people doing it last year and saw some videos I wasn't even aware of.

I'm hoping Darren, Anthony, Ben and myself may be able to throw some sort of show together... stay tuned!

Animals on the London Underground

Got to love the creativity that has gone into the Animals on the Underground site. I've often stared at those maps myself (wondering how to get from Southgate to Baker Street in less than an hour) but it took Paul Middlewick to see the pattern and spot the first album, an elephant, in 1988.



Now there's t-shirts you can buy, ecards you can send and it's all for the benefit of the International Fund for Animal Welfare.



Other than the dove, I think this tortoise is my favourite
