However, what it means more is that instant messaging, email, chat, collaboration, publishing, sharing, blogging, tweeting, social networking and especially bringing someone in to a conversation is all going to take a massive leap forward into real time.
This isn't something that is going to happen one day. It's happening and it's coming soon. It will change the way we talk online.

ReplyDeleteThat's a useful preview. Thanks Darragh. I like the way we can see changes in real time. It echoes the fact that – climbing up a level – we can now see changes in the way people communicate – in real time. Everything's becoming fstr, as James Gleick put it.
ReplyDeleteThe problem I see with this is noise. I find twitter really noisy sometimes, facebook has become a little more noisy as well, this would be like a pile of people screaming. It also lets you edit what other people type.Hello, that would drive me mad mate !
